Probably the best owner in sports

Kind of odd that he was looked at as a maverick and odd ball at one time. Not nearly as bad as Turner (Ted) was once, but to a degree and Turner also became respected as a good owner after he gave up things, like challenging Kuhn’s banning him from the field/Clubhouse by being the bat boy once, saying things un kind about his players (Bob Horner was a frequent target) and other things Turner would do early on.

What’s odd is it took him over a decade to start investing in his baseball team. Oh well, glad we are where we are now…

Don’t complain.

I wonder, how many years they celebrated
Leo Juan Fraudo’s birthday in the clubhouse. You do what you have to do to get your shot, but what a scumbag feeling you have to have when McKeon or someone is paying that respect.

Him and Hérnandez did it for their families. I can respect that. Hérnandez probably doesn’t get signed if he doesn’t lie. He and his family would still be dirt poor.

My mom turns 66 on March 23.
Also, if you’re celebrating birthdays in July now, I’ll be 35. Thanks.

What do you all think is a fair price for Cain, if he were to sign an extension before Opening Day?
