The Marlins are enjoying being free of Chris Volstad.

Nyjer Morgan is enjoying being in the same division as Volstad again…

The Marlins are going to skip Zambrano’s start against the Cubs so Zambrano doesn’t go raid the Cubs dugout and get suspended.

I’m sure teams would be knocking down the door for Kelvim Escobar…

i had forgotten about him.. he was great for the angels few years back before all the shoulder issues started

I remember waaay back when the Blue Jays were giddy over the young trio of a Escobar, Roy Halladay, and Chris Carpenter as the future of their staff. Granted two of the three went on to be Cy Young pitchers, and Escobar had some decent seasons himself…it’s always fun to look back and see what could have been.

Yeah, nothing like 5 innings in 5 years to inspire confidence

Love to see Odog released by Padres. He is done ad player. Just say no to O’Malleys as Padres ownership group. Padres are not Dodgers south.

Lately the Padres look more like the Tijuana Potros north.
Gumby65
No Padres are NOT Dodgers south.. Dodgers were bright enough to don blue uniforms from the get-go, and also figured playing in a football stadium wouldn’t be a good idea for 30 some odd years.

The best selling classic jersey in 2012 is a PADRES jersey, not a Dodgers jersey.
Padres consistently had games with 60,000 + at them for 30 years. Have the Dodgers ever done that in Chavez Ravine?

If the O-Dog gets released, would like to see the White Sox take a chance on him. Maybe a change of scenery in a smaller ballpark would help him out. Send Beckham down already!

An article with 2 former Blue Jays… neat.
