JC’s done decent career though
1980CHAMPS
What’s funny is this is like the millionth time he has been DFA’d.
stl_cards16
Thank you, John!
chico65
14 runs allowed in 8 innings of work? JC better start praying to the other JC if he hopes to keep playing.

Sanchez is back!!
Adam
Next, Tyler Greene…
headsupkid01
You can’t release Greene, you have to at least trade him.
headsupkid01
but I’m definitely on the bye bye Greene side

Let’s Be Honest.. 8 Innings Is 8 Innings. I’ve Seen Bronson Arroyo Give Up 9 Runs In Half As Many Innings Before. I Still Wouldn’t Mind Seeing The Reds Sign Him To A Deal That Would Allow Him To Go To Louisville And Get His Rhythm Down And Take The Spot Of Aroldis As A Lefty In The Pen. Which Would Allow Chapman To Move Into The Rotation. Ted Power
Brandon 20
I wish needing a lefty in the pen was the only thing holding back Chapman from the rotation. Bailey, Dusty and maybe Walt are huge roadblocks stoping him from going there.
Besides, we don’t really need bullpen help, we’ve got a great bullpen as is and a few guys in AAA that’d be more than capable to step up if needed. Our problem this year has been losing games 3-0 or 3-1 because our bats forget how to hit…in short, we don’t need JC.
Dan Smith
chapman not built to throw that fast for 5-7 innings a night. thats a bad idea
Brandon 20
Who says he needs to throw 100mph for 5-7 innings? He was a started in Cuba, he threw a couple 6 inning games and was stellar in spring. The Reds are paying him WAY too much for his role right now…lets face it, he’d be way better than Homer Bailey right now.

I’m not sure if this is a post on baseball or if you’re attempting to market a book with the world’s longest title
Ron Loreski
I’d like to see the Pirates take a shot on him. They only have 1 lefty (Tony Watson) in the bullpen.
anthony88
they should’ve gone for Mike Gonzalez in that case. though I’d rather see a lefty of their own farm system.

Reading and listening to Cardinals fans, I thought J.C. stood for Jesus Christ. As in “Jesus Christ, Romero, how many fat pitches in a row are you going to throw right down the middle to those hitters!?!”.
patburn
Romero hasn’t done anything since the 2008 World Series….reason being, he got caught using PEDs and can’t do anything without it.

This pleases me
DT Flush234
Surprising move to call up Sanchez. His command has been bad all year long. It will be interesting to see how he contributes.
missyae
I am sure Ben Cherrington has called already, just what the Sox need. Ben, do something besides nothing
Dan Smith
betting kc will sign em
