Indians Release Chris Ray

The Indians announced that right-hander Chris Ray was granted his release from Triple-A Columbus today. The 30-year-old posted a 4.68 ERA with 6.1 K/9, 3.3 BB/9 and a 46% ground ball rate in 32 2/3 innings for the Mariners in 2011.
