Janish is playing very well to put the right on the wall for Jack…
Micah Jones
Good move, Janish has proven to be a better back up for when Simmons comes back.

No surprise. Janish has been ridiculous with the glove.

The Braves just had too many better options to keep Wilson. He was taking
up a roster spot better used for someone that can actually help.

Jack Wilson is a good glove guy but has a horrible bat. I think he goes To San Diego or Seattle.

hallelujah!

Great fielder, but couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat. Good luck to him nonetheless.

Hopefully Jack can bounce back and finish his career on a high note with a different team.

Much as I think that’d be nice, I can’t see it happening.

Janish is a very good defensive guy but cant hit to save his life

Janish has been pretty clutch though he’s been inconsistent in his Atl stay, definitely the better choice. Still, Jack was great fun to watch.

Jack Flash, you were always the best in Pittsburgh and there were a lot of us who hoped the Pirates would sign you this past season. Here’s hoping you get signed with another team soon and have a chance to show that you’re still the best!

How can you release a player while on the DL…and why could he simply not be transferred to the 60-day DL retroactive to July 14 to free up a 40-man roster spot?
As I see it, Jack Wilson is probably finished.
