Why was Neshek still in AAA with those numbers? The As will love him

8.0 BB/9.
Dude hasn’t been healthy since 2007 either.
Edit: Oops. I thought I was looking at his minor league stats from this year, but I had flipped back to his major league stats. 8.0 BB/9 in 2011 with the Padres. 1.4 BB/9 with Norfolk.

Dewayne Wise, you had 1 amazing defense play with us that one time. Now, please go away.

I’m not even a Sox fan but I got chills when he made that catch.
Uncontested
The only way it could’ve been better is if it was the last out of the inning.

which catch? the one that he didn’t catch?

Mark Buehrle’s perfect game…for the White Sox…who just signed him…which is why he said us and has a Sox player as his picture

There’s gotta be more to the Neshek story. He was a lock to get called up when rosters expanded, and possibly sooner if someone would take Gregg. Why give him away to the wild card competition?
I’m guessing he asked out or to be traded … Nonetheless, not too pleased.

“if someone would take Gregg”
The Fish have had some awful closers of late.. Gregg, Bell, Lindstrom.. Gotta tell ya though. U can take the stats.. Gregg looks on the surface as the best of those 3, but I would take Lindstrom and bell over gregg (as the were for the marlins as closers) over gregg. That guy was just awful.
Said this many times.. Pity Duquette and oriol fans for being stuck with him. Can’t think of how they will be able to unload him, without flat out releasing him.
