Congrats to the Giants. Marco Scutaro was THE MAN.

I just watched about 7 hours of Fox Sports to see Romo win it for the Giants.

are you talking baseball or football, can’t tell

Congrats Giants, back to back remarkable comebacks and then congrats on the sweep.

So… does Melky Cabrera get a ring?
start_wearing_purple
Yes. Everyone who contributed to the team typically gets a ring.

Congrats Giants, I was rooting against you but you were clearly the better team.
Side note: Last out was the triple crown winner striking out… Am I the only one who is sometimes amazed with the way games sometimes almost seem t have a story component? The hitter who received the most illusive offensive award in years was the final out, it almost seems scripted.

AA seems to love those Halos catchers

I think the really interesting move here is Bobby Wilson going to the Blue Jays.
I interpret this as Alex Anthopoulos having decided that Blue Jays cannot keep both JP Arencibia and Travis Darnaud long term, and that he’s dealing JPA to a team like the Rangers.
Travis D’Arnaud will be the starting catcher, with Bobby Wilson back him up, until that third guy (forgot his name, but he’s also a pretty decent catching prospect) comes up to be possibly the backup catcher.

Time for no divisons and a balanced schedule that won’t allow for an 88 win team to make the playoffs.

You can’t possibly compare them to Hall Of Famers Smoltz, Glavine, and Maddux but the Big 3 of Lincecum, Cain, and Bumgarner now have two rings each in their young career it’s really quite amazing. Add in what a job Buster Posey has done in just 3 seasons Sabes & Co. did some amazing draft work.
