Seattle–trades for Matt Kemp and signs Shin-Soo Choo
NYY–signs Matt Garza
ARZ–signs Ervin Santana
Pittsburgh–trades for David Price and signs Burnett
PHI–signs Tanaka (come on, come on!!!!)….
LAD–signs Ubaldo Jimenez
KC–signs Nelson Cruz

Now that Tanaka won’t require a crazy posting fee, I don’t see how the Phillies will be able to afford him.
An acquisition of Choo and Kemp would be crazy; and would really make the AL West an interesting division to watch.
Santana would give up a billion homeruns (literally) in Arizona. Being a Giants fan, I really hope this happens.
I don’t think Pittsburgh has the money for both Price and Burnett.
I think the Dodgers might be happy with their starting rotation given the signing of Haren. I see them only bidding on a big splash guy like Tanaka or Price or, dare I say it, Cole Hamels/Cliff Lee.
KC – I hope they’re smarter than that. Nelson Cruz is the ugly older sister of the offseason.

Man they got pretty much everyone wrong…

Wow. A lot of misses on this board. More speculation than science (or insider info).

Funny to go back and read this to see how FAR off base the predictions were!

I love that you left this up. To the naysayers: how many did you get right? Predicting free agent movement is a tough slog (obviously).

They signed Beltran and Kuroda. Could still sign Santana…
