After this dude’s first few seasons, it looked like he was gonna turn into a stud with the Royals.

He had an amazing second half for the Royals in about 2006 I believe. Never seemed to recover from his WBC injury… always thought he needed to move to second. Was solid in the KC community

He’s like an Erik Hinske. The guy wins the AL Rookie of the Year with 24 HR and 84 RBI and it all goes down hill from there.

Hinske has been a really solid pinch hitter though. Teahen is certainly a footnote in Moneyball. Just never really hit well enough for a 3B. He did have his moments

I didn’t even realize McClung was in camp with the Pirates. He could possibly help some team, but not the Bucs: their bullpen was already very deep.
