Tigers, please.

JD needs to make whichever team claimed Cotts pay through the nose. Especially, if it’s the Tigers, Dodgers or Yankees.

No one is going to pay much for a little over a month of Cotts.

He’ll likely pitch ~15 regular season innings and maybe 10 more if whoever claimed him goes deep. I’d be shocked if anyone is going to pay much for about 25 innings of an inconsistent reliever.

In the playoffs LHP set up men are at a premium.
rct 2
Right, but you’re probably only going to get a max of 10 innings from him, so ‘paying through the nose’ isn’t going to happen.

It better be the Pirates. Huntington needs to do something about this horrific bullpen!

I would love it, but there is no way he made it that far through waiver process. Ironically, years ago Pirates had Scott’s in training camp on minor league deal, though he wasn’t anywhere near as good then and has been dropped by multiple other teams since.

Tigers would have the highest waiver position of the teams listed.
Would make sense.

The Rangers raided their cookiebox already.

I remember him on the Cubs a few years ago. He wasn’t the greatest, but he was a good guy. If he goes anywhere, I’d like to see him wind up on the Royals for the rest of this season.

Tigers will have blocked the Royals. Ironic consequence of pulling into 1st place for Royals.
