Frank I. 2
Mets or Reds

Where does he play in NY? He’s not really suited for a corner anymore, I wouldn’t think. He’d be best off taking a 1B job somewhere. Plenty of semi-contending teams need a 1B. Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Miami, Seattle, maybe Cleveland could have interest if the price is right, and could certainly use the offensive boost he would bring to the lineup, assuming he isn’t a mirage of Coors.

Would love to see him in left for the Cubs .

I could see Cuddyer securing 2 years and 22 MM somewhere. I could also see a little less or even a good bit more per year, like 2/26 or 2/28. He’s been an offensive weapon lately, and a move to first base could help his health, who knows.

Would be a nice addition for the Cardinals
The Oregonian
Not sure that the Cardinals have a real need at any position.
Dave 37
sure they do… the more offense the better…. if Taveras is so good… How come he didn’t play?

Cards had a historically bad offense this year, need help at 1b and rf those spots may improve on their own, but we also need a right handed power bat off the bench, and the cards have payroll flexibility. I think it’s a perfect fit.

AL Teams not getting VMART or Nelson Cruz.
UK Tiger
Always liked Cuddyer, always been a solid hitter who will generally put up good solid offensive numbers. Defensively not going to be a huge contributor so definitely a consideration for AL clubs who won’t really be able to compete in the Martinez and Cruz bidding.
Dock_Elvis
I believe he’ll resign with Colorado after some roster restructuring.

I’d really like to see the Cards sign Cuddyer, between the corner outfield and infield spots we should be able to get him 400 at bats and with his injury history that may be beneficial for him.

The Reds sure could use his bat in LF. He’d be an option to fill in at 1st if Votto misses a lot of time again next year.
