I would love to see San Diego take a flier on Tejada; he’s still young enough to be better, and has been good in the majors before. San Diego’s glaring hole at shortstop needs to be fixed sooner than later.

Definitely shocked Graveman won a rotation spot over Chavez. That really seems to be a stretch, almost like Beane is trying to force immediate returns from the Donaldson trade.

Yesterday, the Cardinals went with a outfield of Grichuk in LF, Bourjos in CF, and Heyward in RF for the 9th inning. I can’t think of a better defensive outfield alignment in baseball. I’d like to see Heyward and Bourjos in the outfield together more often. With that said, Bourjos is a great weapon off the bench.

You can add Pedro Alvarez to the declining earning power list. His move from 3B to 1B will not come with an increased OPS.
