I am very glad to see David Aardsma get back to the Show. He worked very hard last year at Memphis and I was shocked he only got another minor league contract this past winter. He was very gracious about signing autographs even late after games. I think a lot of teams made mistakes not giving him a shot this spring. Hope he has several more good seasons.

Agreed. Even though Farrell wore out a path between the dugout and the mound when aardsma was pitching for Boston, you could tell David had the bulldog mentality of never quitting.
Pulling for him to become a really good setup guy at least and would be super if he could get some of that 95-98mph velocity back somehow as well. It would help his nasty splitter tremendously.

I was at the game last night, he threw a third of an inning. FB ranged from around 93-95

The Tigers continue bringing back players they got rid of, for one more shot. I guess it is admirable to be showing some loyalty to past players. Unfortunately, none of them have worked out.
