I don’t see any contending teams lining up for Latos!
Brixton
I disagree. His non-ERA stats have been promising.
3.63 FIP, a low walk rate, mixed with an average K rate isn’t terrible.
He also has a 2.89 ERA on the road, and a overall 3.86 ERA in June.
Think about a guy like Jake Peavy from last year, he struggled mightily with the Red Sox, got traded for an above-par return, and turned it on for the Giants.

Latos would be a nice buy-low option for the Jays and it would allow them to put Sanchez in the closer’s role, where he should have been all year. Of the 19 games the bullpen imploded on, Sanchez in all likelihood could have save 10 of them, which would put the Jays in first and put Cecil, Delabar, Osuna back in supporting roles where they excel. Miami would be happy with a prospect and Latos, if he has a good second half could be signed to an extension at a fraction of what the big names would demand for 2016.

Only way id want to get Latos is in the offseason on a 2/24 deal where he can try to boost his value back up for another try at a big payday

They should try to get a young solid pitcher who is controlled for 6 more years. Like Anthony DeSclafani.

I wonder what It would take for the angels to get Prado away from the Marlins

The angels should trade for Prado, he would fit well in their line up
