Hopefully this break will give the Rangers some rest for the 2nd Half. Looking forward to hopefully playing in October.
Melvin McMurf
The Rangers should give up and start selling
Colby
So by that logic, 1/2 of MLB teams should do the same?
Melvin McMurf
there are four teams with less than a 10% of making the playoffs in the American League and eight in the Nation League. So yes, these twelve teams need a dose of reality.
Math&Baseball
Less than 10%? So you’re saying there’s a chance!

@bigh52334 I love a dreamer

Sigh. He we are with the Giveuppers. 95 Mariners – 09 Twins – the list goes on and on and on and on………

Braves might do a Jose Peraza for Nomar Mazara deal.

Don’t think that’s the kind of RH bat they’re looking for.
bhambravesfan
More likely they would be interested in Maybin and Jim Johnson.

Maybe they look to give Rua some more at bats and see what he can do from the right side.
lamuga326
Rua is horrible. Delmon Young would be great. He and Josh could switch playing time, or even him and Choo.

Just unloading a couple will improve the team. Get what you can and move on. Too many AAA and over the hill players on this team. Getting D. Young just adds to that problem. You do not find good players in the trash can. Bring up Gallo, Martinez, Mazara, Williams, Alfaro, and Chi Chi and win/lose with them. Dump the dead weight. Trade Beltre while he can still walk and if you have to throw in Andrus to move Beltre and his total loss of focus, do that too. Save $$$ and prepare for the future.

Anyone interested in Choo, Andrus or Harrison? You take the contracts and I’ll buy their plane ticket to the city of your choice.

On a serious note I think JD would listen on our lefty prospect bats for an equally talented right handed outfielder. Preferably someone in AA or AAA. He was pushing the Cardinals a couple years ago for a Profar/Tavares swap so its not out of the question.
