Who was the teammate of Kang’s that had 50 some HR’s will he ever be posted?
ivan-2
Nexen Heroes’s 1B Byung-ho Park. He hit 52 HR last year. He has the same agent as Jung Ho Kang does. IIRC he is eligable to be posted after this year and Pirates are the very early favorites to land him.
Draven Moss
The Red Sox have been connected to him as well.

Thinking the Brewers will need to do their homework on Hwang. They have little to nothing at the 3B position. Plus Miller Park is considered ‘hitter-friendly’ as well, could translate well if he has a glove.

Thank goodness this post on Hwang wasn’t made during deadline week…every tourist troll would have had a field day with his name. That Reds fan guy would have been all over Jocketty for “not signing Hwang Chung Tonight as a 12 year old”

A few months ago, I noticed that the Mets signed back Zach Lutz from Doosan which was a nice minor league depth choice. Any chance that Lastings Milledge or Wladimir Balentien may come back as well?

Lastings Milledge…wow…hadn’t heard that name in awhile.

I know. It seems like some of these players have done well overseas. Lastings got the stereotype of being a problem person (not to mention he was the victim of announcers saying how he got his name over and over and over again), but it’s 10 years later and he’s only 30. Maybe they were just late bloomers who deserve another chance. When you take a look at some ex-pats, they have done well in Korea, Japan and China. Maybe they just need another chance. Hey if Pedro Floriman can break a roster, so can these guys.

Some of them make some nice change overseas though. Better than they’d get on some long commercial AAA flights.

Any news on Eddy Julio Martinez?
