Wright going to come back against phillies weak Pitching , that’s a Blessing in itself. Let him play one Game ,Rest then Play another and so on ,until he 80 % of what he was !

How is Reed not an improvement over Parnell?

I Parnell pitch last Sunday, he didn’t look that bad. He would have gotten out of that inning unscathed if the Mets defense didn’t look like a little league team. I can’t believe he got charged with that error, he had a perfect throw in the perfect place.

His fastball is a straight 94, not going to get it by many ML hitters, the knuckle curve is the only other offering and he can’t get it over for a strike.

Parnell has been exceptionally terrible. He has walked more guys than he has struck out. You want your relievers to be striking out at least 3 guys for every guy they walk; Parnell is striking out 2 guys for every 3 he walks. Álvarez and Verrett are both internal options who would be more successful than 2015 Bobby Parnell.
