Been posting since 2013 that the NYY should try and trade for this kid when they were looking for a ‘long term’ replacement for either Derek Jeter or A-Rod…
Looks like that ship has sailed.
Wonder if they ever really tried ?
This appears to truly be a player as ‘one to watch’ …..
Good luck Corey Seager !
(you would’ve looked great in Pinstripes !!!)

there was no way the dodgers was going to trade him, maybe the old owners would have. however the new owners are big on using farm players to build a team so he was staying a dodger.

Wonder if this crop of SS will be able to live up to Arod,Jeter,Nomar etc. Orioles seem to be toying with the idea of moving Machado back to SS as well, but that seems unlikely unless they find a way to unload Hardy. The top 3 picks in 2015 being SS as well, the SS position seems to be in very good hands for the near future.

I’ve been looking forward to his promotion for a while, hope he tears it up.

bit of a side note here…
whats up with all these hammy injuries with the dodgers this season? i know they’ve got this new great nutrition program and all but it sure seems like way too manu hammy injuries.

The new diet includes too much ham. Obviously.

Of course Mattingly slots him infront of the pitcher…. At least give him sooome protection

Another armchair manager shows what he knows.

Ok give me one good reason to bat a kid in front of the pitcher in his debut
