Isn’t AJ Puk the big lefty?
Steve Adams
He is indeed. Mental gaffe on my part. It’s been corrected. Thanks!

Phillies can’t afford to take a gamble on a high school pitcher. They’ve wasted too many 1st rounders on high school kids. None of the kids in high school are “Can’t Miss” either so NO to taking a high school pitcher 1 overall, if they get it

I think Braves are in a similar position. Though they’ve taken Allard in 2014, it’ll be interesting to see who they decide on though if Puk is off the board, I can imagine Riley Pint would be interesting. However, they seem to love young lefties (Max Fried, Kolby Allard, Manny Banuelos).

Disagree. I think right now, Groome is the guy to take.

On the flipside, prep guys are often the most talented options. The Phillies should go with the best player available whether or not he’s in HS.

Washington should send Storen to the Tigers to make up for the Fister trade
