That’s an awesome name.

The Red Sox will have to depend on Houston to “release McCracken.” Sorry very poor joke, but I had to.

I’d rather Ernie.

I’d rather the Sox look at one of their own former employees than McCracken and don’t really see him as a serious candidate, then they didn’t follow the Commissioner’s mandate when they promoted Cherrington, hired Farrell, Bobby V, or brought in Dombrowski in a hurry. They pretty much had to look at a minority candidate soon and would have wished sometime sooner Tommy Harper would have gotten a chance before he got into his 70’s. Near 30 years of coaching at about every level with Boston.. He earned his chance with Boston, especially with what he went thru while there.
Tiant, or martinez another pair. At least someone from within the organization, rather than an outsider.

Yeah, I can’t help but think this is more of a move to placate the commissioner’s office. I’m kinda hopeful that Hazen gets a shot.

Another choice that isn’t named Frank Wren!

JP Riccardi a Worcester guy who was GM for Toronto and is a Special Assistant for the Mets.
Chaim Breslow's Purse
He also made some very very poor decisions that got him fired. Yeah, I’ll pass, thank you.
