I’d sign him for his nicknames alone. “Final Boss”? Hell yeah! In all honesty though, I hope the Brewers try to sign him. Sign him (for presumably a fairly cheap deal), trade off KRod to one of the teams that needs a closer. Save us some money, maybe get a decent return for a player we really don’t need.

Replace a 33 year old proven closer with a 33 year old unproven closer? I agree they should trade KRod but this replacement makes no sense for the Brewers.

Reportedly as of Sunday morning January 10, the Cardinals have a deal in place to sign him, contingent on a physical. The Cardinals are flying him into St. Louis for such a physical.
