Park has some serious pop. Hope he does well.

“The Indians are currently showing the most interest in… Shane Victorino.” That probably doesn’t take a lot to accomplish this early in the hot stove. Hard to believe anyone is showing interest at this point. He’s no more than a bench player, and I have a hard time thinking he will get more than a spring training invite, after last year.

Well, if memory serves he was talking about how he’s felt the best he has in a while. So, if he has his health he could be an effective player for the Indians while Brantley heals.

I’d love for the Pirates to take a chance on Fuenmayor. Put him in a platoon with morse for the first half of the year, then make him the 25th man once the super two date passes and Bell arrives.

Sometimes it is a bit more than just money. Zimmermann liked it that the Tigers wanted him first.
He also liked the fact that Comerica is huge.

Really huge, … and filled with good defense. He will win here.

Victorino is 35 years old, and has, over the last two years, played a total of 101 games with 337 PA, and managed 33 R, 16 extra base hits, has an OBP of barely over .300. I understand he had a career year with the Red Sox in 2013, but we aren’t talking young guy here. What role would he play?
