All the best, Efren. You deserve it.
In other news, Mike Trout and Kole Calhoun had each better be ready to play 162 games this year.

I would have rather kept Efren than sign Gentry… Always liked him.

Navarro > Nava, Gentry, Cunningham, Pennington
What’s this front office doing? There’s a difference between being thrifty and being smart.

Yah not sure why the Angels would let Navarro leave when Pujols is supposed to be out for the first month of the season. Unless they think Ji-Man Choi is better than Navarro but I wouldn’t count on it

We got Cron to play 1st base

Never had the impression that Scioscia liked Navarro, the very few times he had a chance to play he did better than others such as DeJesus or Victorino in the OF. My question, are Nava, Gentry, Ortega and Cunningham better? How many of them can play 1B and LF? I wonder sometimes how the Angels go about making their decisions……

Another year and another huge blow dealt to efren’s career by this horsecrap team. He doesnt hit for much power but he is gold glove caliber at first and is a natural .280 hitter if given at bats. The pirates should claim him and use him. Like three years ago.

Wow. He was a solid player. I hope no one picks him up, although thats very selfish of me since if he stays here he wont get playing time. its going to suck watching him suceed elsewhere.

Angels fans again getting attached to another AAAA player with little upside at the major league level. It’s hilarious sometimes. Efren Navarro is a career minor leaguer for a reason. Maybe on a team that isn’t in win now mode he’s got a better shot. But Navarro has shown little ability to translate his minor league numbers to the major league level.
