Braves could trade Ender Inciarte, a great hitter and outfielder straight up for Miguel Sano.
rashomon
Twins aren’t looking for an outfielder, they are looking for less third basemen.
Backatitagain
The article above suggested that Sano would be moved to the outfield. This is a position he would not be suitable to defend at anywhere near Inciarte. Inciarte can play all outfield position and would generate more WAR than Sano. Thus they must be looking for an outfielder contrary to your claim.

Or perhaps they want to keep all their players, so they are trying Sano at new positions. That does not mean they are looking for an outfielder and Inciarte will not get Sano in return lol
talkingfox21
Why would the Twins make that trade?
jd396
I’d pretty much say Sano is untouchable. He’ll have his growing pains I’m sure (he jumped straight from AA after all) but this Sano is a rare talent at the plate. That, and even minus Hicks the Twins aren’t really short outfielders, he’s going to the OF solely because of the corner IF/DH logjam.
The Truth 2
Inciarte, and Swanson, and Blair, and some more guys, because Sano has more value than Shelby Miller. But doubtful Min would even do that.
jd396
The only way the Twins are trading Sano is if someone uses the “Force Trade” option in a video game.
Backatitagain
Ridiculous of course.
Sky14
No, they couldn’t.

Maybe Plouffe won’t be hitting into so many double plays with Sano in the wings…
