Whatever the Braves do, they better not let Andruw give out diet advice!
baseballrat
When you make 128 mil you can give out as much as advice as you want
christian18cutshaw
He could tell them what NOT to do he’d know a lot about that!
baseballrat

Vinny Time
No on this episode with Andruw Jones he’ll give advice on how to make a lot of money with little effort.

He can also talk about being the BEST CF in his era
CoryM
What about a guy who was elected to the HOF this year? Ken Griffey Jr. is one of the best CFs of all time.
Griffey played 1989-2010
Jones played 1996-2012

The best cf of his era may be a stretch, but it’s not ridiculous. It really depends how you define the word “era”. Jones came into his prime around 99. Griffey was fading around that same time.
I think it’s more like jones picked up where Griffey left off. And that’s no knock to the kid. Griffey was special. He was one of the generational players. He was the reason why we wore our hats backwards, wanted to play the outfield, and why we’d shell out all of our allowance money to chase after his upper deck rookie. But as his star started to lose the luster (the Cincinnati years) Jonas’s star was on the rise.

He was absolutely not better than Jim Edmonds.
baseballrat
You cannot be serious about Edmonds over Jones… WOW

Thanks, Steve — I am always interested in keeping up with the Joneses!

Great news!
Looking forward to seeing Andruw’s infectious smile back in Atlanta!

Jones is the best defensive outfielder in history, a plus bat, 400 home runs. And he’ll be lucky to make it past the first ballot.

Guy is not a making the hall of fame
chieftoto
And you are an idiot… So have fun with that.

No…. He is not making the hall. He is in the hall of very good. Maybe if he had a ring it would push him over that dividing line, but he doesn’t. I think, and this is just my personal opinion, that there is a better case to be made for Kenny lofton or Carlos Beltran than there is for andruw jones.

I always likes Bronson. Dispite being a Yankee fan. Maybe it’s because he made a living as a pitcher with out having a mid 90’s fastball, or because of his karate kid like leg kick, or maybe it’s because he just seems like a cool dude. The type of dude that will put together ikea furniture with you and keep you sane while assembling it.
