Don’t forget about the incredible story of Torreyes. Cut by the Astros, Blue Jays, Angeles and Dodgers. Makes Yankees roster. An amazing ball player and future all star.
TheMichigan
Wasn’t he only picked up because of millers wrist injury?
Ken M.
No. He beat out Kozma for the utility role.

Way to beat out a guy that probably can’t keep an average over the Mendoza line.

You know, you seem to have a one-track mind on a particular subject, now, why would that be?
TheMichigan
Was that to me or the other guy?
Ken M.
Also of note, Luis Ace Cessa was added to the 25 man for the Yankees. There are whispers he could have the #5 starter spot by the All star break. Quite the steal from the Tigers for only Wilson.
stymeedone
Wilson put up Chapman like numbers for your team last year, and you refer to him as “only?” Cessa is a good prospect, but talk about the cart before the horse.
dwhitt3
Wilson did not put up Chapman numbers. He was very good, but not comparable to chapman
jimmyz
Wilson has been really good for awhile, just always stuck in a 7th inning role for one reason or another.
