Always been a big fan of Fed-X and didn’t like it when he was with the Sox system and they gave him away in that ill fated bedard deal few years back.. Sure.. They still had vazquez, Lavarnway and Butler in the system at the same time, yet fed was and still can catch, block as good or better than any of those 3 other than C-Vaz.
Thought he’d be a viable, long term backup for some team just with his glove.

Soon the Reds will have plenty of rotation options – Bailey, Iglesias, DeSclafani, Finnegan, Lamb, Moscot, Straily, Reed, Stephenson – after opening the season with only one or two top candidates available.
Alfredo Simon has seemingly done everything he can to pitch himself off the team. We’ll see how much leeway the $2m investment in him has earned him.
