In the event the Rays become sellers, Pearce would make sense for the Mets. Aaron Hill too if the Mets think he can continue to produce at this rate. Might be to make a deal for Hill and a reliever although I’m sure there is still some bad blood over the failed Gomez deal

Rays are terrible. They’ll sell.

I don’t really get why there would be bad blood between the Mets and Brewers. As a Brewers fan I could care less really, I mean due to medicals it fell apart, big deal. It probably happens a lot but this one went public. Seems stupid that these teams would still be mad at each other for something like that.

Justin Smoak had a great May, if he continues at that pace he may move ahead of Encarnacion. Doesn’t have the track record but still has the youth.

Justin could be one of those late bloomers who finally “gets it” and his head catches up with his natural talent, like Nelson Cruz and Jake Arrietta, where everything comes together in their late 20’s.

If Utley keeps playing well, I hope the Dodgers consider resigning him

Im glad Fister is on this list. he’s been pitching well for the Astros. Right now, Carlos Gomez stock is so down that he’s declared bankruptcy.

You have made huge omission here and in your list of POWER FAs by overlooking MIke NAPOLI. . His RBIs, runs, and HR numbers are among top 1B in MLB and he has helped keep Indians in contention
