Terrible value for teheran and vizzy in that trade. Vizzy and a lower prospect like hursh gets that package. A Teheran package starts at moncada and builds from there.
If the Sox want pitching, they’re going to have to pay a LOT for it because their need is so pronounced and obvious. Teherans contract and performance merit that level of return.

I agree that the package proposed doesn’t get Teheran, but I also wouldn’t expect Teheran to fetch Moncada. Remember that the trade proposals were on a Red Sox website, so they were probably written with a Red Sox bias (They also grossly undervalued Danny Valencia). However, as great as it would be for the Braves to get Moncada or Benintendi in return, I can’t see than happening. (I actually don’t see the Braves trading Teheran at all). Both team officials and fans tend to overvalue their own players. To me, the sign of a good trade is when both sides feel like they lost something. One of my favorite parts of MLBTR is the trade discussions in the comments, but remember that these are fan-made scenarios. Let Yankees fans think they can get Schwarber for Miller. Let Red Sox fans think they can get Sonny Gray for Henry Owens. Because they will probably end up disappointed when they don’t happen that way.

Man that kid on the Red Sox blog page must be hittin the pipe hard…think his alter ego might be bigpapi4ever…those trades he proposed were just ludicrous…

Holy f**k those were downright terrible. My first thought when I seen that article was “is it even worth looking or is it just another typical fan trade”

Seattle needs to trade Seth Smith to Miami for Ichiro. OK not sure if that is enough but he needs to comeback and finish his career here wether it is this next or a few yearsbdown the road. He would be a great fill in to go with Cruz and Guti in RF and could DH when Cruz is it out there. Every time I talk bad about Smith he does something good like a grand slam today and hitting 4 HRs in 4 games against the Orioles, but he still is a guy I can’t say why but I don’t like. Anyway get Ichiro back to finish his career where it started in MLB and then on to the hall in an M’s hat.
