Yeah right. Probably Carl Crawford and his dusty bat.

I didn’t think he was in baseball anymore. I’m sure dumb and dumber forgot about him. I can’t wait for new ownership! Since Jerrys gone, how long before they’re sold

hopefully its because they are signing Edward Mujica

Guessing Brad Goldberg or Brian Clark, unless they need a starter for Rodon’s spot, which, come to think of it is most likely. Ranaudo’s been their best guy in AAA but he’s also given up a ton of homers.

Rodon needs to go back to Charlotte for a stint.

very sad day for us Sox fans

Clearly this move indicates the White Sox are going to add a pitcher to the active roster who is not currently on their 40-man reserve roster. My guess would be a starting pitcher with Carlos Rodon on the 15-day disabled list and the club not having a scheduled off-day until August 1st.
The only two in-house candidates who deserve consideration based on recent performance would be AAA starter Anthony Ranaudo or the White Sox #1 prospect Carson Fulmer who is currently at AA Birmingham. Raunado just threw 8 shutout innings tonight (Thursday) and would be in line for his next start on Tuesday in Seattle if called up. If Fulmer is promoted he could be utilized immediately for work in the White Sox bullpen which has been the clubs m.o. with their top pitching prospects in recent years, including Chris Sale and Rodon. Curiously, Fulmer is not listed among the probable starting pitchers for any of the upcoming Birmingham Barons games after pitching a lights-out inning in relief at the Future’s All-Star game last Sunday. Other AA pitchers have been listed as probables for upcoming games with the exception of Saturday’s contest which is TBD.

Do you guys remember that time when Milton Bradley got doubled off second in Detroit when playing for Seattle?
