How bout getting some studs in here, everyone talks about all the money we have and all we can get is these busts

I believe the Dodgers will be glad they held onto Urias and DeLeon in the long run. Urias first taste of the bigs is tracks Kershaw’s when he first came up (rode the shuttle). DeLeon is taking a bit longer but he’s next. What to do with the excess rotation guys? There are worse problems to have. Only question for the FO will be how much salary to eat to move them.

Not sure they’ll have to eat much, if any at all. Anderson and Norris are free agents after the season and wont get QOs. Kazmir can opt out and likely will given the price/lack of pitching on the market. That essentially leaves Kershaw, McCarthy, Ryu, Urias, De Leon. The other fillers like Stripling and them will go back to AAA or be moved to middle relief.

Everyone is offered a QO weather they accept it or not is another story kazmir will return next in my opinion but the Dodgers will need to acquire another ace such as sale or archer if they want to win it all this year they have the pitching and the offense but will neds more help in the future

No Qualifying Offers are not automatically made. Teams still have the choice…

Kazmir is so awful I don’t see much chance that the Dodgers won’t get stuck with him for another two years.

I agree.. Frankie and Holmes are hard to swallow, but we never saw Frankie and Holmes is still so far away from the majors. Urias and Deleon are the best 1/2 coming up in the minors.

I also agree…Very smart to keep Urias DeLeon, along with Trevor Oakes. This winter is when this starting staff will be re-tooled. Tough to do it right now. Rich Hill, if he is at his best, can really help until Clayton comes back. A little shocked we didn’t go after higher quality bullpen help like either Will or Joe Smith….

With all the starting pitching injuries the Dodgers have had, there’s a good chance they’ll already be out of the race by the time they get Kershaw back. Well, now they know: quality and durability over quantity.

Somehow, only a couple of games behind SF and closing in, despite the injuries.

The Dodgers now have the finest DL rotation in the history of baseball: Kershaw, Hill, Ryu, Norris, Anderson, and just in case anybody gets well, Wood.

As a SF fan the team that scares me the most is the Dodgers (in our division). They only near to go on a tear at the end of the season and do what SF did. Personally I hope they don’t but they are totally capable.
