So with a future so bleak do they trade Trout? Seems like there gonna have to start from scratch
BoldyMinnesota
I would. Calhoun and trout for Seager, puig, Urias, de Leon plus more good not great prospects

I don’t see any way the Dodgers would bite on a deal involving Seager. Urias, De Leon, Puig, Bellinger, and two lottery tickets would seem to me to be their best offer. By this point next year, Seager’s trade value, if you combine contract status and production, could rival Trout’s

No way they’d trade him to the Dodgers. Trout is so good, it’s hard to actually get value from a trade return. The majority of teams who trade for Trout would be in the same boat LA is in now. If it was any other superstar, I’d say trade him. It’ll take a few years, but if them commit to a rebuild now; they may be ready to legitimately contend by the time he’s due for free agency. That’s their only shot at keeping him beyond his current deal.

Nope.

No way. He’s signed to a pretty good contract compared to his level of production. Plus dudes like 24. He’s the center piece of a rebuild. You stop making dumb signings and trading young guys for glove only players. And atleast not use premium picks on 2 players back to back drafts that play the same position
