As bad as it looks, at least the Dodgers did not give up the farm for Sonny Gray.

It’s too bad we didn’t use that knowledge to get Khris Davis instead of Josh Reddick.
trolofson
We control Davis for a while there was no way you were getting him.
Cam
He’s got pop, definitely. But that sub .300 OBP is brutal, and the glove isn’t much better.
If the NL had a DH, and the Dodgers coaching team could teach Davis what ball four meant, he’d be a great fit.
BlueSkyLA
I wouldn’t give up on Josh just yet, but then again he’s another LHB in a lineup with too many of them already.
Not to beat the Sonny Gray thing into the ground (aw, why not?) lots of commenters here thought his poor showing this season didn’t have any impact on his trade value. I figured it did, and what do you know, something is wrong with him and maybe has been all along.
sbrown285
Kershaw would still dominate if he could pitch from the ground
dodgersrdbest
Truth is, you are probably correct.
sedillo0416
Unless that flat ground took place in October of course. In that case he’d be sitting on a beach somewhere
dutch91701
Anderson probably shouldn’t have taken that QO last winter.
BlueSkyLA
Right, he probably should have counted on continuing to be unlucky.
ew032
Anderson should be permitted to throw a pitch, catch the ball, throw another, etc, etc. Any attempt to field his position, cover first, charge a bunt, or make any sudden move will only result in injury. One of the most fragile players ever.

Thanks, Doc.

As far as Gray, new kid/gf/wife. Wonder how much impact this has had on him. Seems like his mind is elsewhere.
