The Yanks need to bring up Holder, Adams, and Enns in Sept.
bronxbombers
And Heller
unsaturatedmatz
Holder, Enns, J. Montgomery, Heller, Adams, and Feyereisen should all get called up.

Depending on the 40 man space. But there’s a lot of crap on the staff right now that shouldn’t b there next year. So hopefully your right and we see all the young pitchers 2. Right now there’s only 2 young pitchers on the 25 man right now. Which is not ideal

Halos worst collection of talent as far as I can remember. Wow.

Yeah, they’re bad now and their future is very bleak too. Not many pieces to trade either.

Ummmm except for the biggest trade asset in all of baseball… But yeah I agree. They suck and have no future. Trading Trout would be interesting just because the offer would have to be so ridiculous that they would immediately have a future. Imagine a Red Sox package of Betts, E-Rod, Devers, Benintendi, Kopech, Swihart, and Brian Johnson. Or something like that. I’m not a GM, I don’t know if that’s too low. But a massive package would immediately give them a future.

Alcantara….the last remaining piece of the Andrew Bailey/Josh Roddick trade…

Possible powerful A’s young rotation… The future – and it is always about the future with the A’s – is certainly bright…

Gosh, does anybody remember when Rich Hill pitched? Me neither?
AngelFan69
The Angels are betting in coming out last in AL and perhaps the entire league… If they accomplish that feat, they will be picking first in the draft … But knowing the kakabrainiacs running this failed organization, I will be willing to bet that they will end up trading the draft picks for Vernon Wells’ like players ….

Or draft another catcher in the first round for the third straight year

Probably a touchy topic but I’ll throw it out: How much sense is there in the Angels trading Mike Trout, Weaver and Pujols?
I’m only including Trout as he’s the most attractive commodity and would certainly garner the best return.
They’ll eat some money, but what could the return be?
TBaggins
They could never get a full value return on Trout. No one wants Weaver or Pujols.
rct
They would have to eat a tremendous amount of Pujols contract (5 years, $115MM left on it), or package him with Trout, which would severely curtail the return for Trout. In other words, they’re stuck with Pujols.
Weaver has well below average this year (and last), but his contract is over this year. Can’t imagine there’s any interest in him.

My favorite time of the year is September call ups. Being a life long Yankees fan I finally get to c them bring real prospects up and give them a chance. I’m going to be glued to yes for the rest of the season.

Gavin Cecchini has made 33 errors in only 98 games so far this season. No one is knocking down any doors with error rate, particularly not at shortstop. He’s not going anywhere until he either learns a new position, or brings that error rate down significantly. Either way, he looks to be a year away, if not more.
