Murphy and Wolters combo next year is going to be fire

Murphy now has a four digit OPS for the whole year. Highest in AAA. He may be a real star, someone you have to get in there even if not catching.

I always liked Wolters when he was with the Indians. Bet they r kicking themselves now. There catchers r hitting like a buck twenty on the season

Hader is going to be the next Chris sale. He struggled for a few starts when he came up to aaa but he’s unhittable in his last 6 starts and even pitching well his last few starts in colorodo

Hader is undoubtedly very talented, but to say he is the next Chris Sale, well that is just setting some incredibly high and pretty unfair expectations!!
I definitely became a fan of Hader’s, after watching quite a few of his starts, as he has risen through the ranks. Although, even with that being said, I don’t think his ceiling even matches Chris Sale on a regular basis.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, I think Hader has the ability to come out, on any given night he is scheduled to pitch, and throw a 6 to 7 inning, 3 to 4 hit, 1 to 2 run, 1 to 2 walk, 7 to 8 strikeout performance, but successfully making the transition to the big league level is not easy, even for the highest ranked, most talented, and most accomplished prospects!!
I would not be the least bit suprised to see him struggle his first start, then buckle down his next four to five starts, but the key to just how successful he can be will be mixing up his pitches, hitting his spots, remaining consistent on his off-speed pitches, and changing the hitters eye level…He will be able to get away with a few mistakes here and there, just on his raw stuff alone, but once his scouting report gets out and once ML hitters see him a time or two, that will unquestionably be his biggest test to date!!
I would truly feel a TON better, if he was able to work with Lucroy as his primary catcher, but with the Brewers currently lacking a very strong, veteran leading catcher, it very well could hinder Hader’s growth a little…
All in all, I wouldn’t be suprised to see a little bit of Gio Gonzales in Hader, at least much like his career began and progressed..
I’m just definitely not expecting to see a career path similar to Chris Sale…I just personally cannot and do not see it, and those expectations are pretty unfair for any prospect, not just Hader!!

My cousin was best friends with Hader when him and Josh were the co-aces of their varsity team. Wishing him the best of luck.
