My guess they claimed Jim Johnson. Just a guess

I think the Brewers should trade Tyler Thornburg and Maldonado for d’Arnaud and Josh Edgin
stymeedone
Do you think those players will get to the Mets thru waivers ? I’m doubting Thornberg will.
darenh
How is that good for Milwaukee
ollierucker
It’s better for Milwaukee then it is for New York
bravesred 2
Let’s start the “let’s bring d’Arnaud to Atlanta to play with his brother.” rumors.
Bill
Maybe they’d finally get to play in the same game!
Gogerty
Yeah cause last time we had brothers it worked out well.

I think the Brewers should trade pitcher Tyler Thornburg and catcher Maldonado for pitcher Josh Edgin and catcher d’Arnaud
11Bravo
Thornburg won’t clear waivers.
brewcrewbernie
No way a quality reliever who’s arbitration eligible for the first time next year makes it through to the Mets on waivers
The Ghost of Bobby Bonilla
The Indians will absolutely put in a claim on D’Arnaud. Unfortunately for the Mets, they probably won’t offer much more than salary relief (which the Wilpons love) and 4,000 old Bartolo Colon bobbleheads.
Matt Galvin
He wouldn’t make it to the AL. Also the Braves might not want to give what the Mets want.
stymeedone
I just don’t see the Tigers letting him get to the Indians.
triberulz
If Holaday & Wilson didn’t make it to the Tribe…. Highly doubt D’Arnaud makes it. Braves/ or Brewers will put a claim in. Doubtful a trade would happen.
ffjsisk
d’Arnaud is still talented but I wouldn’t give up much for him
causality
EVERY player gets put on revocable waivers, this is barely news.

d’Arnaud to the Yankees for McCann and Refsnyder
EndinStealth
I was thinking just McCann and the Yanks eat part of his salary.
billysbballz
Why would the Yanks want Denaud?
ctguy
d’Arnaud for McCann straight up. No need for Yankees to include Refsnyder. dArnaud isn’t worth both of them.
aff10
Quality controllable catchers are a commodity. I can understand not wanting to trade away quality assets given D’Arnaud’s injury history, but for free, there’s no way he clears the NL. Honestly, there’s no reason he should even clear the Braves on waivers
ranger421
Yankees don’t need a catcher.
