“Supposedly” Sandoval has lost 22lbs working out after the shoulder surgery this summer in Florida. My question to that, is why didn’t he go out and lose some of that weight right after the surgery instead of waiting until it was time for the rehab period in Florida to begin.
Was thinking of making an extra trip to Ft Myers to see what he looked like now. Made 2 trips over the summer to watch the GCL Red Sox, figured enough 150mile plus trips this year., tho Instructional league is a bonanza for seeing kids from various levels working.

Some of his eating “adventures” are reportedly of the epic proportion. Entire pizzas, then more. There is more than working out right after he had surgery and that was my point.
Sandoval was one of those type of players who threw in the towel when the ink was dry on his contract with regards to baseball and everything.. Giants forced him to lose/maintain weight, had a clause at least 1y in his contract regarding that and a therapist/prepare to make sure he abides by that. Now he’s on his own.
This guy needs a full time babysitter. Much like Elijah Dukes, when he was in the game needed a fulltime keeper to watch over him to keep him out of jail.

You know for a fact he didn’t start eating better after surgery? When you get to a certain age, you have to eat better to lose lbs, no matter how much you workout. The guys lost 22lbs since having surgery, so obviously he’s making “Some” strides in the right direction. Btw… I’m not Panda apologist, either.

I’d be more impressed if he had dropped 52 pounds

I hope that Sandoval never plays for the Sox again let alone in the playoffs idc were he plays just do what u did with Castillo and Craig and call it what it was a bad business decision
