Great News! Still should look into a depth piece in the rotation and consider bringing Chacin back on board.
Just out of curiosity can a player get stem cell injections pre-injury to strengthen the UCL?

I hope he comes back strong. I’m not an Angels fan but have always thought Richards a good pitcher. And if successful, we could see less TJ surgeries in the future.

Excellent question… I thought there were some legal-ethical question marks regarding stem cell… I guess it’s now somewhat somehow allowed here in the US…
lazorko
Adult stem cells have always been fully legal and get federal taxpayer subsidy. There’s no controversy over adult stem cells.
Embryonic stem cells are where the controversy is. Embryonic stem cells are fully legal and always have been. But there is some debate as to the ethical status of embryonic stem cells getting federal tax dollar subsidy. Currently taxpayer funding of embryonic stem cells is happening, but some people are uncomfortable with that and would like to see that be privately funded only.

It;ll be interesting t see these cases unfold (how many people have success with it and more importantly what the shelf life of the healed ligaments looks like)

so great! hope he takes care of mental part of his game to climb the final steps to become one of truly great ones.

Sign J. Weaver. It can’t hurt. Richards might be limited in innings and Weaver can spell him and or fill in the rotation if needed.

Also, the stem cell procedure costs buku bucks. You would have to know that it will be needed.

For a second there, I thought you were talking about Bobby Grich. But I am old….

Since you’re old, is your MLBTR handle named after Jack Lazorko? Lol
