I’ll say Price and Ausmus each feel the axe’s blade by the end of June.
Brixton
I dont know about Price. I feel like if they were gonna fire him, they would have done it by now lol…
oldleftylong
Aumus will be safe as long as the Tigers are in the hunt. Most expects feel the Tigers will be competitive so I expect Aumus to be at the helm at least until September.
kyletaylor2322
Price is weird, I think he’ll be gone by the end of the year. If the tigers are under .500 by the end of June Asmus is gone. I think Collins will be done, and for the mets I hope alderson is done for them. I think hurdle and hunting are done too, I don’t see the pirates competing enough.
GarryHarris
Yo must not follow the Tigers. If the Detroit Tigers are under .500, Brad Ausmus will receive a long term contract.
BrodiesHairisGreezy!
Shhh. There ar a lot of Losers here who worship Alderson’s butt. I wouldnt say anything against him or you will be flametorched by these psychos.
costergaard2
I don’t know what to think about the Mets. You could give them the greatest GM ever, but will ownership spend ? Or even listen ?
bradthebluefish
Why the Pirates’ GM and Manger are on the list amazes me. Their team has no money and they have produced so many great seasons together. If the Pirates ownership were willing to spend a bit they’d be terrific!
stl_cards16 2
Because they are going into the last guaranteed year on their deal, which is what the whole list is.
AddisonStreet
“So many great seasons” you mean quickly bowing out in the PlayOffs and then returning back to being losers as usual last year? yeah, real great.
costergaard2
Let’s see you win 95 games back to back. One of those times was against MadBum who did the same thing to the Mets this year. Your comment is invalid.
ASapsFables
Of course, a change in the top of any organization’s front office may also put that team’s manager’s job at risk regardless of his contract security.
lesterdnightfly
Except Paul Molitor.
(Actually, I think the Twins will contend in two years under Molly and the new FO.)
willi
Brad Ausmus should have a Job as a Major League Manger anyways , he wasn’t ready and his record proves it !
lesterdnightfly
Huh? Ausmus does have a job. Maybe the Tigers have the patience of Job.
WAH1447
Maybe if the tigers had a bullpen. It isn’t his fault they do not have anybody that can pitch in relief besides k rod. Justin Wilson was a total let down last year
Solaris611
For the past 2 years Bryan Price must wake up in the morning and thank his lucky stars he’s still employed. Actually he has low expectations and horrifically lopsided trades to thank, but Price is one manager whose been living on borrowed time for years now.
WAH1447
Hart should stick around just to see the rebuild be completed I don’t see coppy hart or snit to be leaving in the next couple years. Only change i see is hart moving out of the president of baseball operations role and let coppy take over. There is something special brewing in Atlanta can’t wait to see what’s in store this year
lesterdnightfly
“… something special brewing in Atlanta” smells like the smoldering rubber of a retread rotation, and a lineup patched with placeholders and raw prospects, masked by a couple of decent everyday players.
Oh, and an expensive new stadium to show off a team destined for 75 glitzy wins.
I agree that it will be interesting to watch, though.
BrodiesHairisGreezy!
I expect TC to call it a day after this year..He looked pretty wiped out at the end of the year. Too bad, I think he is very good given what he has had to work with in the past.
detroitdave84
Ausmus has a job because he has been average and that’s enough to keep your job these days. However, if he misses the playoffs, he is gone for sure.
astros_fan_84
Girardi and Cashman are so safe, which is ironic because the team has been special for a while, which is very un Yankee like. However, those two have more than proven there worth.
jdgoat
I don’t know if girardi will be safe, I don’t think he manages the bullpen very good
BrodiesHairisGreezy!
Maybe you should be working on your grammar instead of worrying what I post about Sandy, “I don’t hink he manages the bullpen very good”..Sheesh.

As far as I can tell, Clint Hurdle and Neal Huntington are fantastic for the Pirates. If Bucco ownership were to make them shoulder blame, I’d be pretty upset.
Hurdle rallies the team darn well, and manages the team on-field at least as well as anyone else. He’s certainly not costing numerous games out there with his decisions, and he’s winning some with his leadership, motivation, and relationships with the players.
Huntington does his very best to stretch the limited dollars he is given. It doesn’t always work out, which is to be expected, honestly. He has a team of coaches that he trusts enough to bring out the best in mediocre players. The GM gets blamed for a lot of things; but in the Burgh, he can only shoulder so much of it.
In addition, you have to wonder what happens with Ray Searage if Clint Hurdle and/or Neal Huntington go. Ray is invaluable to this team. In many ways, he’s the MVP. Can’t let him go!
