Yomiuri Giants have been reported to have reached an agreement with free agent infielder Casey McGehee, an official announcement will soon be released showing his contract details (via: thepage.jp/detail/20161201-00000003-wordleafs). Just in case someone might ask, Casey McGehee’s name is at the very bottom of that box in the provided link.

To be fair, about 20 teams passed on Mike Trout. He wasn’t heavily scouted because he played in the northeast.

Nah. Trout just didn’t play enough for teams to get a true measure of his value. Wieters was asking for a lot though.

I’m rather curious where Parker Merkel will end up in Asia, no news yet on the Japan and South Korean side though… Taiwan perhaps?
