As a Reds fan, I am so happy to see this. Watching him last season was brutal.
AddisonStreet
As a Cubs fan, I’ll miss him being on the Reds. Thankfully, the rest of their BP is just as bad.

The rest of the bullpen minus Iggy and Lorenzen.
wellhitball
What are you talking about? The Reds’ pitchers throw great Batting Practice.

2.88 era 50.0 ip 48k 1.08 whip -Lorenzen
2.53 era 78.1 ip 83k 1.14 whip – Iglesias
If it wasnt for the addition of those two into the bullpen, the Reds historically bad pen would’ve been even worse

So long Ross! It’s hard to say that without imagining him looking over his shoulder at a long homerun!

Ohlendorf blows, so this is appropriate.
WARrior
Haha, I just spit coffee everywhere! Appropriate reaction to your RO blows for the Yakut Swallows joke
davidcoonce74
Ross Ohlendorf replacing Kyle Davies in a rotation is a profoundly existential change.

Those Yakults aren’t North African swallows, are they? You know, the kind that migrates while carrying coconuts?
aussiejaysfan
It could carry it by its husk!

I send compliments in your general direction …..

Dude has like four mediocre pitches. Straight fastball, flat slider, curve, change.
rizdakc99
Well, he throws an excellent gopher ball- 14 HR in 65 IP last year! Without looking at all relievers I gotta believe that’s around the top of the spectrum.
