This is ending up just like Groundhog Day…. Is Fien related to Punxsutawney Phil or something?

interesting. I thought Casey Fein didn’t do that bad in the Tigers system.

This whole thing with Fien has gotten very strange. I wonder what is so wrong with him that he’s been tossed around like a hot potato. There are many other guys with much worse numbers then him; I guess his mechanics, or other things we can’t understand through stats, are really bad. I hope he sticks on with the Tigers now! Not that I think he’s got a ton of major league promise, it’s just that it seems he is one of the better minor leaguers, so it’s strange that he’s being picked on to move back and forth through all these teams.

Pretty much agree with everything you said. I don’t know what the deal is either. If the Tigers are signing him again, maybe they thought they made a mistake or they just needed the room or something.

Poor Casey. Everyone likes him but nobody loves him.

Ahh yes, it figures…I look at my backyard team the Binghamton Mets schedule and Harrisburg does not come to town until early August because of the new scheduling they do in the Eastern league. Ugh. Bummer. Highly doubt he’s still in AA then. Was hoping to get a glimpse of this kid up close and personal. Cripes, I remember when Harrisburg visited here once a month as it’s once of Binghamton’s closest Eastern League cities.
