Who is still in triple A when all the trades we trade peopl form triple a for a PTBNL. First Virgil Vasquez now Van Every. Soon the bucs won’t hve a triple A. They need to get a player whe they mke th trade
Yankees420
PTBNL stands for “PLAYER to be named later” so the Pirates will be getting a player back with this trade.

Van Every = AAAA quality player. To his credit, he did bring some excitement to Fenway during his last stint with the Red Sox. Of greater concern than temporarily filling an OF roster slot, is what are Theo & Co. going to do about the catching situation where, in 18 games the opposition has stolen 34 bases in 35 tries?????????

I’d try to wrestle Kurt Suzuki away from Oakland… but the bigger problem is what to do with Victor then. Really three DH’s.

Think the question over starting Victor, Lowell, or Ortiz is an easy one
Yankees420
It would definitely be easy to decide who to start but that would also mean Boston would be paying 24.5MM dollars to 2 players that aren’t starting, ouch.

unless of course they ship Ortiz or Lowell to the A’s in the trade, but I have heard Chris Snyder once Montero comes off the DL
