Ozzie is going to tweet his sorry ass right out of a job. Your stupid ass rotating DH thing has officially blown up in your face. Its your fault because it is your idea and its Kenny Williams fault for listening to you. Fire them both Jerry. Blow the team up and hope for a top five pick.

So Bud Selig has time to call Hawk Harrelson and shoot the breeze, but he can’t call Gallaragha to tell him he totally screwed him over?

Considering that Mike Piazza was drafted by the Dodgers in the 62nd round, anything can happen here. If the Yanks saw something spectacular in Culver, I say, go for it. In 4 or 5 years, we’ll know more and can judge it then. The nice thing about the draft is the hope that springs from it. We’re all flooded with new kids to sign, consider strengths/weaknesses and develop into prospects/players. A mere fraction of the 1500 kids being drafted this week will someday grace these boards, as fodder for trades, for call ups, or sadly, as releasees. But the fun, right now, is in the thought that they all have a chance to make our ML rosters someday. Just like breaking camp from spring training, hope springs eternal.
