Sox could use Westbrook if Hudson isnt good.

Not sure why teams would be clamoring for Peralta. Hasn’t even been league average since 2008, with an OPS+ of 0.693.

You mean OPS… though his OPS+ of 88 is hardly any better. I agree, no reason why teams should be overly interested or willing to part with much.
Still, you’d think there’d be at least some interest from a club like the Padres or Rockies.

Can’t he play SS and 3B? If so, the Yankees could use him as a backup IF.

Trust me, you don’t want him playing SS. He has absolutely no range there.

Westbrook would be a nice fit for the Phillies or the Dodgers.

Hard to picture Kerry Wood with interest either. How bad the reliever market is when his 10M remaining contract is being shopped about with apparent interest and as brutal as he has been. If Epstein makes a move for this guy and actually gives anything up, besides salary relief, it may be his worst move as GM thus far. Fahrnsworth would probably be abetter pickup and that’s not saying much.

Farnsworth has been decent this year. They use him in KC more as middle relief. He’s been coming in at the beginning of innings, usually the 6th or 7th, and sometimes he pitches both innings. It’s worked out better for the Royals and Farnsworth that way.
He could be of help as long as the acquiring team consider his limitations and pitch him accordingly.

Man two months ago I would’ve said the twins should’ve traded for Kerry wood after Nathan got hurt.
