I will be stunned if Tallet is back with the Jays.
Sniderlover
He won’t. He absolutely blows.
You don’t expect a long-man to be great but really, he was flat-out terrible.
FriedCalamari
His number against lefties are pretty solid. I wouldn’t hate it if he was specifically used as left specialist.
Roland
Your name is awesome. Sorry for taking up space with this comment but I had to say it!
Bob
Ben, are you considering Bruce Chen a starter or not a bargain?
Ted
Wow, Chen finished strong as a starter this year… where’d that come from?

Tankersley would also be a great fit with the Padres. They needed another lefty in the pen all year with only Thatcher down there and we all know that it’s hard to hit dingers in Petco.

It’s pretty bad when the guy with the most potential hasn’t looked good in 3 years (Tank) and the only one can really count on is 40 YO Mahay to get through an inning. This list is 1 year and Mahay might not even be able to get a MLB contract this year, possibly Tallet also.
SP
I think he was just used too damn much the last two years. I agree with FriedCalimari that if he’s used only as an actual LOOGY then he’d be fine.
Beachbummer
The only one you can really count on is Mahay? Choate may have only pitched to one or two batters per outing but they were always middle of the order lefties. To post those numbers against the best left handed hitters in the A.L. east is more than impressive so i would have to say you can “count” on him too.

The Yanks will go after Downs, they have seen that going low budget on relievers is not going to get it done.
cookmeister
i would hope that the angels would look to add a lefty reliever
mvs1173
low budget middle relief just won a 2009 title, no?
