“Rockies GM Dan O’Dowd told readers of the Denver Post that he’d like to trade for top players, but is not willing to sacrifice significant organizational depth to make an acquisition.”
Hey O’Dowd if you dont want to give up depth then how about Tulo for Greinke? An allstar for an allstar sounds good to me…
I am only joking Colorado… I know that would never happen but Tulo is one of my favorite players in the game so let me dream for just a second…

I wonder how many teams are stubbing their toes against eachotherc while kicking the tires on Greinke.

I don’t see them bringing De la Rosa back. Someone is going to offer him 4 years and $40+ million and that’s just WAY too big a gamble for the Rockies. For that sort of money you ought to be pretty well convinced that you’re going to get 30+ starts and 190+ innings out of a guy, and that is pretty unlikely with Jorge.
Take the two picks when he signs elsewhere.
