Trade Slowey for what? Another reliever?
jwsox
this is why the twins are an odly run team. They have a lefty lefty platoon at DH they are starting a guy at SS, casilla, who is nothing more than a supersub(every single twins fan friend of mine agrees). They are starting a guy right away who has never been to america before, let alone play in the minors in Nishioka. they resign carl “I have had one and a half good years in the past ten” pavano to a multi year deal which he is an injury away from a yankees repeat. And they are going to trade slowey who at best would get a mid level prospect if that and not liriano who they could get at least one top/ blue chip guy for and maybe another 2 maybe 3 mid level prospects for

And yet, somehow, things seem to work out pretty well for them more often than not.

Extensions with Scott Boras happen about as often as marathons with Stephen Hawking.

This is a joke because the only good players the Yankees would wiling to trade are catching prospects and they have this guy named Mauer and such that they wouldn’t match up.

When you have to explain the joke it usually means the joke is an epic fail. Sorry dude.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ much bigger fail. sorry man

I wouldn’t say epic, but I have to explain my joke because Yankee fans feel entitled to players even though they don’t match up or make any sense.

Man… Just looked at Konerko’s career stats… He’s quietly has had very nice career indeed. Those SOX teams racked up the HRs…

he is one of the more under rated 1st basemen in the game and has been for a while…and the fact that he finished 5th in he MVP voting last season shows for a fact that many of the people who get votes(still dot understand why its writters and not actual baseball people such as managers, gms, certain players, HOF members etc. and not writers, who most of them tend to write articles that make no sense at all) I mean I understand Hamilton and Miggy going 1-2. and looking at it not cano makes sense going 3rd he has a better average, konerko has more home runs and rbis, although konerko did have a better obp/slg line…..but Jose bautista getting 4th over konerko? all he did was hit a ton of home runs literally thats it
