Maybe they should see how this year goes.

He’s an intelligent guy, but I hope he doesn’t take much longer to turn that team around. I think he and Huntington are in similar positions.
Drew 13
We’ll take him back…
Rabbitov
If he doesn’t start making some sort of an impact on the international front, he really doesn’t deserve to come back even with all the positive things he’s done, its not a sustainable model.

I think the key for this year is displaying patience even if they show improvement. Which means:
1. Trade Vlad, Derrek Lee, Mike Gonzalez, and every other veteran if somebody comes calling offering a blue-chip. Imagine if the O’s had dumped Brian Roberts for like Starlin Castro or something like that.
2. Keeping Britton and Machado in the minors for the entire year (minus a cup of coffee)
3. DO NOT trade above prospects in a vain attempt to compete.
That said, if Tillman, Matusz, and Wieters take a step forward, which is a lot of ifs, then you got yourself a major league ballclub.
Then you can go out and sign Prince Fielder.

Let’s not start trading everyone away on March 2nd.
The Yanks are getting older, Tampa lost a lot of talent in the off season, the Blue Jays, well, are the Blue Jays…
No one is touching BoSox as long as they stay healthy.
Maybe I’m guilty of drinking the orange Kool-Aid after thirteen losing seasons, but I wouldn’t be surprised if people around baseball starting using the word “Cinderella” to describe the O’s in September.
Watch out.

i think he’s done a great job for them.
