Ah this makes me sad. I like Frandsen a lot. He really filled a gap for the Halos last year, I hope he can make a ball club this year.
Grab some pine, meat.
As a Giant’s fan, I feel the same way. Best of luck Franny.

Another AAAA player bites the dust.
Rick Garcia
He very well could end up back in SF
BlueLA
or the place were former Giants go to play (LA Dodgers)…Neddy loves them scrappy/crappy former giants

About time. Cant hit, cant play the field. Should have cut him two weeks ago to give someone else the game time in ST.
Bryan
He was awful the one game he played in left field last year. High pop-up and he circled around a bunch of times and then missed it…

Sounds like Fred Lewis!
Mickey Koke
Robert Andino or Alberto Gonzalez would be decent UT-INF options.

I’d love to see the padres acquire a glove-first guy with speed to replace Frandsen. Frandsen could be useful to some team, but I’d never want to see him out at SS.
The funny thing is that Everth Cabrera would fit in pretty well with the 2011 team, but it would really hurt his development if he rotted on the bench and came in as a pinch-runner/defensive replacement only.
Mickey Koke
Both of the aforementioned players, Andino and Gonzalez are defense first players that would fit very well. The Padres could be leaning towards Alberto Gonzalez because he is more versatile.

I smell a deal coming.
Patterson headed to the DL ( doesn’t play SS anyway )
No way Evy breaks camp with the big club.
He belongs in Tucson as the starting SS.
Padres won’t need a #5 starter until April 17th due to scheduled days off.
Extra fielder/hitter until then.
